Seriously though, maintenance first and while maintaining, upgrade suspension. Then exhaust plus tune.

For me:
Memory seats, bixenons, autodim mirrors, touchscreen Nav, suspension, tune. Stop there because it's a 50 miles a day daily driver. In that order. I am halfway through in that list.

Dont knock it man. I used to be the same way, until I had the S5 with that engine in it. What a monster. Im completely over turbo after having that car.

As far as "must haves" for the B7.. for me its bi-xenons and the S4 recaros. Im happy with the car on oem s-line suspension and its NEVER going to come close to being as fast as my S5 was, so I don't even care about a tune.

Sometimes. Depends on condition, features and location. Id say expect to spend @ $1000.00 for a complete set front and rear

I've bought 2 full sets to date. One for $700 and one for $850. About $1000 is the norm for a full set in good condition, with the rarer ones (white/black and black/black Alcantara sets) running a bit more. I would under no circumstances pay more than $1200 for a mint condition set. Check ebay, craigslist, AZ classifieds, and local wrecking yards.

Yea I want to get back into another 3.0T. Such an awesome engine. Got me into a lot of trouble though, especially with the stage 2 pulley upgrade. But man was it fun.

honestly the upgrades depend on your plans for the car and what type of driving you do.
For me my upgrades started small at
Bilstein Pss9's, Rs4 RSB for the rear and 034 sway links with a s4 front sway bar, 034 rs4 motor mounts, 034 trans mount and apikol diff mount. I wanted to tighten everything up. Then next for me came some more get up. I went with the K04, with rods, and now full e85 tune and supporting mods. Added a jhm Trio SS kit with crossrod upgrade. I did upper adjustable's as well. Again every upgrades needs to be done for what you want.

I know my upgrade is seats and black headliner. Other than that the car is perfect almost.

That has to be the reason. I honestly don't remember how it felt stock, but with the pulley upgrade it was a downright savage. Power in every part of every gear. This 2.0 is pathetic, but I still love the car.

A4 brakes calipers are the same as S4. The difference is the carrier that you can use 345mm rotors from the S4
