    2010 TT w/2.0T fault code P2015

2010 Audi TT with the 2.0T engine and only 18,000 miles. CEL came on-code P2015. This is a CPO USA car that I imported into Canada. Unfortunately CPO warranty does not cross the border (It most likely would for Americans visiting Canada but not for Cdns importing a USA car). Intake manifold needs replacing; cost is US$253 parts and US$251 labor (diagnostic cost was US$100). So, not a huge cost but I was still upset and voiced my displeasure to Service Advisor that this should happen at such low mileage (and also mentioned possibility of future high oil consumption and carbon build up). Left dealer obviously a bit upset (in the end, SA did mention repair would be covered in USA). Shortly after arriving home, SA called saying that he had made a few calls and that Audi would cover the repair so needless to say I'm very happy.
Diagnostic did confirm vacuum to intake manifold. Looks like there is a mechanical "butterfly" system in the manifold and it has failed. Because the repair will be covered by Audi, I won't be able to see the old manifold.

Pretty common problem on the 2.0T, many guys on the B8 A4 forum had the same issue. Mine threw the code right now as well, probably gonna ride it out for a few months before I get a metal intake manifold.
