    Sport differential warning light

This light came on in my 2016 S6, yesterday. I was in the passage seat at the time and my brother in law was driving it for the first time quite conservatively, I might say. We had stopped on a sideways slope with a lot of lock on. After starting the car and driving off the yellow warning light came on (shows a down view of 4 wheels and the drive shafts, with a spot where the rear diff is). We stopped the car, turned off the ignition and it hasn't come back since. I haven't checked with VCDS yet. Sport diff is set to auto in the individual setting.

I wonder what they can detect is wrong in the sport diff. Has anyone else had this happen?

Saw it once in my RS5. Ended up being a transmission issue (easily resolved). Check the codes if you have VCDS, but my guess is it's a transient sensor issue.
