Can you remove OE Crossbars on an AR without a key?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
A forum buddy from another site is unable to remove his stock OEM crossbars from his AR because he doesn't have the key. The stealership wants $170 for new lock cylinders. Is there a way to take them off somehow without a key.

Those are the bars in question, any help is appreciated!

might be able to break the internals on the locks, slide them out of the way and go from there

why not call up a locksmith and see if they can make a new key?
