I am selling my Dolphin Grey Metallic 2005 Audi S4 Avant 6MT.
(a unicorn if not for the more common color)
The car runs and drives great, but has high miles and a few small surface rust blemishes. The chains have never been done to my knowledge, but are not an issue at the moment (no slapping). This is an opportunity to get into a VERY well maintained example of one of the hardest to find trim packages for a fraction of what you would spend on one with lower miles. I have nearly $20k in maintenance and repair records dating back to the first owner. I am owner #3 and have only owned the car a few short months).
Reason for selling: I bought this car because I always wanted a b6 s4 avant. One poped up locally so I impulse purchased. Now winter has hit and I am out of space... I have decided that I want to focus on my current project, a 1974 BMW 2002 and will have to revisit the S4 Avant at a later date.
Good:
Nearly $20k in receipts from new
All receipts from maintenance are in a folder and most (all from second owner) are spread-sheeted.
Leather on full Recaro interior is in great shape (no tears in bolsters)
All maintenance, as shown in the documentation was done in a timely manner (one receipt states something needed replacing, a second receipt from only a day or two later is the invoice for the repair)
Brand new Wheel Bearing on passenger side front
Control arms replaced recently
Bad:
Surface rust blemishes around the car (I have purchased the scratch wizard repair kit for these)
Underside of car looks relatively rust free
Good size scratch in rear passenger bumper corner from previous owner
170000+ miles
LEAKING power steering pressure hose. Will have repaired for new owner if purchase price is fair.
Small hole in flex pipe of exhaust
Looking for $8500...quick sale means more flexibility on the price. No offer will be shamed.
