New A4 turn signals illuminate from inside to outside?

I feel bad I wasn't able to snap a picture of this (since I was driving), but today I saw an A4 with distributor plates on it and when he put on his turn signals they looked amazing. They were a single thin row of LEDs that illuminated from the inside to outside (in the direction of the turn.)

Looks really slick and high tech. Are these standard on the A4 now?

Car looked pretty normal otherwise, so I don't think it was a prototype or anything.
