My bet it runs fine. If it runs a Jeep w/ an on highway engine, shouldn't harm your Audi.

Not sure what "green" diesel is though...

Is that diesel fuel meant for agriculture equipment or something, the "green" diesel I'm referring to?

In the States, offroad diesel is generally red (dyed) and on road diesel is bluish green.

No problem, the same diesel fuel your friend uses will run fine in your Audi TDI.

By green diesel do you mean biodiesel? If so, it will work/run fine. The only thing you may have to watch for is check your hoses and seals on the fuel lines after using it for a few tanks. Biodiesel can attack certain components in the fuel system. Newer cars have different materials to prevent that from happening, but older cars don't, so just keep an eye on it to ensure nothing starts leaking.

Damn, you are really good! Helped me out with the other issue now this, thanks a lot! Guess i will stick to regular diesel as most likely knowing my luck.. I will run into a custom check getting my tank dipped and then again, fined. Thanks a bunch!
