    quick question timing related

    Does anyone know if the center boomerang shaped tensioner/guide come with a seal on the back. I just did my timing all over again and realized there was a seal on my old piece. Anybody have a part number for the seal

    green gasket does NOT come preinstalled on new components.

    It is part #179 109 139 A

    JHM kit comes with a new one. But dont forget the one on the back of the other tensioner. That one doesn't come in the JHM kit and you need to grab the old one and transfer it over.

    I don't think I did. I think the JHM kit comes with the oil shaft seal? Although this guy said it was something for power steering... Not sure.

    I searched the OEM part number on the seal (079103051E) , and the parts diagram showed it was for the upper accessory drive (a/c shaft)
    the power steering seal calls for another part number (079103051J), although they look very similar
