Looking at a b7 s4, anyone recognize this car?

I recently totaled my Imola b6 s4 so this car would be replacing that. It's a 2006 brilliant red s4 with 106k listed for $15,500 with stock wheels. It's on blinstein shocks with h&r Springs. Stasis exhaust, clear bra in the front. Engine looks immaculate (side covers are missing though). Drives smooth, shifts nice. Not a sound when I cold started it. Has some maintenance history.
What do you guys think? Price? Located in CT

If timing hasn't been done, I wouldn't bother for a price like that. Better to find an enthusiast-owned car that has it's timing done so you don't have to stress over anything big

I would offer 11k and have them split the PPI with you (includes compression, borescope, leakdown)

You can haggle all you want for timing, thbut an engine with scored walls is/will always be scored. Don't concentrate so much on the chains. Id take an engine with "pristine" walls that hasn't had the service any day of the week, even if it meant I had to shell out for timing service. Its piece of mind. EVERY day I walked to my car I thought of the chain service and burning oil. Anyone who says they dont is either lying or ignorant

Kind of relieved to have moved on at this point, however I miss the quality and power of it. In a VW now, but I will always be back to Audi.

You must hear the brief 2 second rattle on start-up correct?
