    Left low beam not working.

Hi all, I have been researching and thinking about this for some time now. My left headlight low beam is not working. I replaced the bulb obviousl. After that didn't work I have been researching and researching to find some solution with no prevail. They are Halogen lights, i have found a lot on the xenon ballasts. Are there any fuse, relay, or control modules that would cause one low beam to go out. My next thought would be the wiring and connections. Can i replace individual connectors and wires without buying a whole headlight wiring harness? At this point any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

My guess is harness. If you can figure out which wire is the issue you can change that single wire (unless its broken somewhere near the control module that is inside the car). There is not much in halogen headlight wiring. Just two wires that goes to the bulb. One ground, one 12V. Test it out.

Thanks, Is the control module under the dash drivers side behind the fuse panel like the b6?

Mine was doing the same thing when I first bought the car; it eventually got to where the foglights weren't working either. Everything I read said that the Control Module was bad. Come to find out, one of the plugs on the CCM was partially unplugged and had started working itself out; once I plugged it back in, everything worked perfectly and I haven't had an issue yet.

Yes. Exact same as in a B6.

one of the plugs on your power control module in the engine bay? Doesn't the power control module regulate the power going to the headlights?

Almost. Comfort and convenience is in the trunk and controls interior lighting, power locks, alarm. The one under the steering column is the right one but it's the Central Electric Module.

Ah, got them confused. All I know is for some reason one of the plugs was partially unplugged and causing my headlight issues.

Mate, do you have a photo of exactly where this is. I have been looking for the alarm module for ages. All of the threads here where it is shown diagrammatically haven't helped. There is nothing where the amp is either :(

Hmmmmmmm....now I'm the one who's wrong. I forgot they moved the CC Module up under the driver's seat in the B6 & B7's. B5's were in the trunk. Here's Bentley's picture:
