I've read a post about K&N's filters causing issues with extra oil on them from the manufacturer. Also it lets more dirt in the engine? Its the first I've heard of this, and I've put K&N's on numerous cars in the past with out issues. Should I stick with OEM? By just looking at it, looks a bit restrictive. Another user said rinse the K&N with warm water and let it air dry for 2 days to get the grease out. I'm planning on a major maintenance project soon, and wanting to get some advice on filter choices. More grunt from the intake induction noise will be a positive with the AM filter choices over OEM. The power gains seems to be negligible.
