Yes. Unless you have a buddy kind of relationship with the service manager and they can somehow 'not' scan your car . AoA does require a scan and techs do GFF for all warranty work.

Things aren't always organized at a dealership though and people go through the motions,

I always write in large bold font "do not wash" but have had a few close calls

@Ensoniq - I write on A4 paper "DO NOT CHANGE/TOP UP ENGINE OIL" and then when picking up car SA tells me "we topped up oil and wash fluid"... can't fight with stupidity
