    You have lots to read....

    Maintenance, maintenance and more maintenance!!

Here is what I do to refresh a used car with a decent amount of mileage on it:

    - Replace all fluids and filters (engine oil, trans oil, diff oil (all 3), power steering fluid , brake fluid, coolant).
    - Timing belt et all
    - Plugs and coils
    - Vacuum lines and check valve replacement.
    - Replace all the mounts (engine x3, trans x2 if tip 1 if manual, rear diff x1).
    - Replace failure prone sensors which affect performance as they age (coolant temp, boost solenoid, MAF, intake air temp, oxygen sensors, diverter vavle).
    - Replace pcv system.
    - Replace cam follower. Check high pressure fuel pump.
    - Fuel filter replacement.
    - Carbon cleaning is a good idea as well.
    - Replace front upper and lower control arms as well as inner/outer tie rods. Sway bar links.
    - Replace dampers and bushings front and rear.
    - Brake service (pads, rotors and rebuild the calipers).
    - Battery
    - Once the car is mechanically sound I do a full paint correction.

If you haven't taken it to the dealership anytime within the last few years, you may want to check out any kind of recalls/TSBs you can get. When I got my car in '10, they replaced all my coil packs, and a couple years later, I went in and they did PCV and hpfp fuel pressure sensor. Those would save you some money right there, if you're eligible.

Of course, considering how long ago I blew past 100k, I don't consider it high mileage.

I'm tuned and use NGK BKR7EIX.

That said, years ago I was in a pinch one time and used AutoLite (Advance Auto, IIRC) iridiums for a bit and they were fine too, as I was not doing any hard driving.

I won't be tune until the summer so what's recommended for stock?

Thanks Audibot. I've had my car at the dealership every 6 months for oil changes and scheduled maintenance since new. I'm noticing they haven't always been on top of TSBs and recalls. Do you know of an easy way to get a complete list for my VIN without relying on the dealership?

Just ask your service manager. I mean, I asked them to check a few times in-between, but sometimes they may not be forthcoming. Just ask over the phone--saves a trip.

Thanks for all the great responses. Especially appreciate the extensive lists from DannyDeez and ADCS. If anyone else has a personal list to share (or a reference list from great thread elsewhere) I'd love to see it.

Do you guys take it to the dealership for maintenance or just follow what needs to be replaced with audi maintenance schedule by buying your own parts?

I think you'll find quite a few DIYs on the forms for the routine stuff. My car has been to the dealership for all scheduled maintenance and even oil changes. Expensive, but longevity was the goal. With more expensive items entering the picture (suspension upgrade, control arms, timing belt service) I've found a reputable independent shop with more reasonable labor rates. Started using them at 85k.

Ain't got $ for that lol. Although I've always taking my car to the dealership for everything expect breaks. I got what is needed for the 95k schedule maintenance, just have to put them on. Unfortunately, the shops that I've found around where I live that are audi certified, they either charge me the same or more as the dealership
