Interesting. On my SQ5, I turned off the manual auto upshift via vagcom. Not sure if the option is available for the DSG though..

This is an option when you flash APR TCU tune. It's most annoying when car is auto downshifting on the track.

I did the same on my A4 with the ZF-8 speed. I haven't tried it yet with the S. I'll try check tonight and see if that option is there under the trans module.
