Selling--AWE Tuning Audi RS5 Track Edition Exhaust System. This item is in USED condition.
I had an email come to me, so I will clarify: the exhaust was on for 5,000 miles. Exact mileage of install and removal below:
I like to be very upfront about items that I'm selling, so many of these details might seem redundant. This is an exhaust from my second Audi--a 2014 RS5. I installed and used aftermarket parts on both cars. I found this exhaust to be an easy entry-level installation--as easy as any item could be with basic tools.
This item is used. I purchased it new in November 2014 from TAG Motorsports. It was new when arrived and I installed. For reference, I'm in pennsylvania, and I had called AWE and asked about purchasing and having them install the item there. They don't keep items on the shelf, so I was looking at 2 weeks for manufacture and they quoted me 4 hours for installation time, I believe this was for the track + the extreme downpipes. Note: The Track exhuast is what is pictured, this DOES NOT replace stock downpipes. TAG had the item in stock, was offering a lower price than AWE, and shipped to me in a matter of days. Both companies were very helpful, and I find TAG's service and AWE's parts to be top notch. I was able to install the exhaust, including removal of the stock unit in less than 90 minutes with hand tools and two sets of jack stands. It's a slip fit design, and I found the craftmanship to be excellent overall. They provide some reasonable installation directions on their website but a novice would have no trouble installing.
The mileage when I installed the exhaust was 2152 on November 26th, 2014 and when I removed it was 7478 on September 27th, 2015.
The parts pictured are included. The only things I haven't included are the two plugs and two zip ties for the vacuum lines to the stock mufflers. I don't believe these items should be reused. Everything else is included from the new packaging as I received it. A plastic or metal plug would be sufficient and could even be done with a small screw.
I'm asking $1100.00, which I think is competitive for a used item. I haven't seen many other listings, I might be high or low. For this item, that's what I'm looking for.
Right now, as of 12/29/2015. I see new prices at AWE and TAG at discounted rates between $2023 and $2069. I don't have many used prices to compare
For shipping, I'm estimating. If it costs a little more, within reason, I'll cover it.
