    B9 A4 Spotted on Los Angeles Freeway

    Saw this B9 A4 sline coming up on me this am. I was on the 101 heading southbound right near 405 interchange. The headlight matrix was a dead give away. Grabbed a few photos. Manufacturer license plate and a baby car seat in the rear.

    I'm really loving that aggressive front end. IMO back lights are a little out of proportion. Those lights work on an A3/S3 but look small on the wider a4 body

    The accountants, they didn't feel like having to crash test (very expensive) the manuals for probably only what 10% of us who want manuals? BMW is saying thank you, I'll take those customers who don't just want to put there car in D.

    The A4 B9 will eventually have a manual option according to this link. It looks like the S4 will not have that option, however.

    The B9 is now for sale in Europe, and does have an optional 6 speed manual there- but only available with FWD.

    Thats one reason but I would say that cars in general are to expensive here and automatics is normally a premium option. We have always been to cheap to buy auto's =)

    Me too. Looks like it should fold up and down automatically. I had a Q3 for a loaner and kept waiting for the display to fold down. I kept pushing it and pulling it only to realize it's fixed. Lol

    Hell, even my old 2011 Caddy does that.
