    Fair asking price?

Looking for some insight on a fair asking price for the following car. Its mechanically sound, up to date on service and should need nothing. I have it listed at 17K which seems to be below the market value but was hoping someone who has purchased or sold a similar car recently could provide some insight. The exterior is in good overall condition but does show some typical wear (scratches etc) of an 80K mile car. Interior is in very good condition. Vehicle was just aligned, tires were replaced last year and have plenty of life. There is an accident on the carfax, it was a parking lot accident where the rear bumper and trunk were damaged, trunk was dented and received paint less dent repair (there is still a scuff) and the bumper was left alone (small scuff there too). Thanks in advance

Can't say for sure, but I picked up my 2010 3.0T Prestige with 44k on the clock for $23,500 in July and thought that was a very fair price to me. I would say that $17,000 is reasonable, but I certainly don't study these prices. Ad looks good too, only thing is that we have a Tip transmission vs. a DSG...Good luck with it all!

What are you replacing it with?
    2010 A6 3.0T Prestige, Quartz/Black
35% Tint, VCDS, Hardwired V1, LED Interior/License Plate, Chipwerke Pro, WeatherTech

Previous: 2011 A4 P+, APR Stage 2, 35% Tint, Eibach Pro-Kit, VCDS, Gloss Black Grille, Fogs,
LED Interior/License Plate Lights, Short Shifter, BFI Catch Can, V1, Rieger Lip Replica, FRT's FMIC, aFe Filter

65vetteC6 - I would use the KBB recommended price, its fair and widely accepted. Below is what I got from KBB when I used your car's details.

    Private Party Sale
Car in Excellent condition - $18,700
Car in very good condition - $18,300

If I was selling that car, I would ask $18,500 and the buyer will get a detailed car and a full tank of gas.

    Cheers,
    RV

Thanks, I'm thinking 17 is probably a pretty fair asking price that will require little to no tire kicking

I paid $21k for a 09' Prestige APR Stg 2 with 65k miles. So, I think you have it set at a good price.
