which front control arm kit to buy?

there's FCP, 034, OEM (worst option due to price), and an ECS kit that is reasonably priced for $200 something, but not sure of quality. which kit has most used and had the best success with?

I have the FCP kit installed and can't say anything bad about it. I think it has a decent track record for those who have installed it correctly.

I've used ECS and I have FCP in my B5 A4 now. Pretty solid if you ask me. The ECS ones I had to replace, but that was probably my fault because I didn't do them all at once the first time. I think a lot of people on here use ECS and FCP and you can't go wrong with either.

FCP installed 10k miles ago, no problems so far and im 24.5" GTF all around. whatever kit you go with the most important thing is installing them the correct way.

Are you looking for the entire front kit or just the upper ones? Is your car lowered?

For stock suspension, I would say FCP offers the best deal (currently on sale for $260 with free shipping):

I have the FCP kit, about 1,000 miles on it and it's great. High quality, perfect fitment, and transformed the way the car handles along with the H&R coils I installed at the same time. Add the fact they are priced the best and have a warranty, win win.

Then I would recommend pair with 034 density adjustable upper control arms in order to avoid camber wear

There's a thread on here stating Moog adjustable control arms are rebranded STC upper adjustable arms. Cheaper too

Laughing at "FCP" and "quality" words in the same sentence. Just order the kit directly from China, it will be the same stuff, much cheaper.

Those MOOG arms are a great deal, but for street driving the normal uppers are fine. I'm pretty low and my camber isn't that bad at all. If you're slammed or track the car, then I'd see the benefits of adjustable uppers. IMO.
