Audi B8 2010 retrofit mirrors question

Hi everyone,

Glad to have this forum for info and inspiration! :)

I have a questions - i want to retrofit the side mirrors with eletric folding ones.

I have found a pair on Ebay, but it has the lane assist features and is from a facelifted A4.

So my simple questions is - Can i get them to work on my Audi A4 B8 2010 non facelift, without lane assist? I dont want the lane assist feature to work, but can i just install the mirrors plug and play, and simply not connect the lane assist wires?

I intend to use the guide from DavidB8, on Audienthusiasts.com

Yes, the mirrors will work. The lane assist warning light would bother me though so I'd probably end up getting new covers or retrofit the entire lane assist system.
