New B8.5 S5 ... first mod ideas ADVICE/OPINIONS WELCOME

My '16 S5 should be complete sometime around May. I am trying to think about mods that I want to do when I first get it. Here are just a few ideas:

Coils/bags
Wheels
Exhaust (ARMYTRIX, FI exhaust, AWE, Milltek)
Front Diffuser
Rear Diffuser
RS5 Grille
Brakes
Window tint
ECU upgrade
Pulley upgrade
S-Tronic upgrade

If you have any opinions/advice please feel free to reply! I have been through a lot of build threads. If you could go back and put your mods in order of what you wish you did let me know!

I've only done a few so far myself but my #1 would be coilovers and spacers (if you don't do the wheels right away). The improved stance makes a really big difference.

Coils/bags - H&R Street and PSS10 are great CO options
Wheels - Hit my Flickr for many wheels on my past 5
Exhaust (ARMYTRIX, FI exhaust, AWE, Milltek) - For the 3.0 I like the AWE Touring
Front Diffuser - I'm running a nice deal on Deval through the 31st
Rear Diffuser - " "
RS5 Grille - Meh
Brakes - Brembo 380mm GT - Flickr again....
Window tint - I run 35% Suntek on my SQ and mk7... Flickr

Other here are much more familiar than I, but I plan to do GIAC Stage only on my SQ.

- I second the AWE Touring - It even sounds great on my 4.2 (Yes, I have a complete 3.0 system on my 4.2 - the differences are very subtle actually).
- AWE non-res Downpipes - Touring would be too quiet without these in my opinion.
- ECU
- Pulley
- Roc-Euro Intake

Enjoy ~400WHP!

If you like the sound level of the stock S5, then I'd just do the AWE Touring, no DPs, no intake. Go with all the above If you want it to sound real mean without being terribly obnoxious.

my thoughts on pulley and ECU Upgrade

there are a couple tuners to choose from GIAC/APR/EPL/Ultronic/REVO

all offer close to 100 hp increase with their Stage 2 (Pulley/Tune) for about $2000

If you bring your car in for service with a tune once the car is plugged in for diagnostic it will be automatically flagged with a code of TD1 which will void your powertrain warranty...

so far and a couple people have proven to avoid this .. you must bring the car back to the Tuner to flash back to stock "NOT STOCK MODE TUNE" .. but a stock flash and it will prevent the TD1.

Flashing back to stock and restoring the tune will cost anywhere from $40 - $200 depending on your tuner.. so your tune choice should really be based on the closest tuner for you as all the tunes are pretty much close to each other it will be a drivers race

there is also no risk with running stock tune with an upgraded pulley as the ECU is smart enough to only apply stock boost.

So far only 2 of those mentioned tuners above offer flash from home capabilities (EPL and Ultronic) .. this allows you to flash back to stock from the comfort of your own home without having to pay and visit your tuner to flash for service appointments ..

another option is having ur service done at a local shop.. however going in for recalls to teh dealer will still cause the connection to Audi of America

don't pay attention to 1/4 mile times too hard.. some tunes are more widespread so they will have a big number of times and also alot of those drivers are just seasoned 1/4 mile veterans
