I need to reconnect the shift linkage to the trans. the two bolts on the side look reasonably doable. the stabilizer delrin on top is a PITA. what have people done to do this without pulling trans or dropping the subframe?

I was afraid someone would say that I'm going to try and grind down an 8mm Allen key later and use it to bolt it down. I've got it positioned correctly. it's pretty damn tight in there. REALLY hoping I don't have to move anything major for this

I've done it before. Wasn't that difficult iirc. If you have a rack.

ive got the axle shaft and heat shields out. I can reach up around and grab the bushings itself. also have the 8mm allen in the bushing with the washers installed below it. my trouble now is simply tightening the allen bolt. is removing the mount/bracket to gain better access? did you use a shaved 8mm Allen wrench?
