Best tune available?

My cousin recently got his RS-7, has been wanting to tune it for a while now. I really don't know much about tune options for this car, so basically in short, which tune is the most powerful? Price doesn't really matter.

The most powerful tune won't be the most reliable. You can tune car to big-ass power but you will risk the engine failing. So...what kind of risk tolerance for engine failure is your cousin willing to tolerate. Does he have the $$$$ to replace a blown motor without worrying?

That car is crazy. We just need a decent track/DA over there and it would give us a 9 second pass. I have no doubt that car has 9's in it.

In terms of tune only so far, the two main companies are APR and GIAC. Others are coming out with their solutions like Unitronic, but theirs is not fully released if I remember correctly. You are probably looking at around $3K plus install plus tax and what you are getting is a high 10 sec car on pumpgas and a mid 10 second car on racegas. IMO keep it simple...

No tcu tune for the RS7. it has a different type transmission from the s6/s7 cars. if you ask me, it does not need it. it makes the car a very smooth driver and it is plenty fast to give you consistent 10 second runs.

3 interior / exterior over all not as boring
But more than anything potential of 5.5 and cost of the parts .

But a few companies are coming out with stuff for the RS7 too... German TTE we came out with bolt on turbos where on pumpgas it made more than 800 crank horsepower, which is a lot more than what we make on a typical APR tune on racegas! I think with those turbos we can potentially see the first 9 sec RS7s!

MB is just a lot more fun to drive in my opinion , the turbo kit I posted will make 800-850 wheel hp , if I want more I can do strocker 6.0 , then this kit will make 1300 hp on E85 , tranny upgrade availible , axles also evailble , race gas , 91, 93 , 100 , 104 , any gas I can think of availble , when I called APR they basicaly told me fuck off , if I'd buy RS7 I would get stuck with limited options , now I have so much more options . and it's not joke in stock . and that sound drives me crazy
