Plain and simple, what's been the FUNNEST Mod to your B8/8.5?

I'll start: my recently acquired FBSW with paddle shifters. This mod makes me fall in love with driving my allroad every time!

Stage II E85 Tune - hands down.

The torque is enthralling.

That's a tough question, but a good one. Will think about it and update my post.

First inclination is the H&R sways. Would say the ECS short shifter, but that might be fresh lust talking.

I would say ko4 but haven't experienced enough of it yet.

So I'll say my awe "track" exhaust (awe touring with a muffler delete). It let's me scare the balls off of drunk college kids downtown on weekends.

Stage 2 is up there as well.

I'm still on the fence with this. I've got an 034 HFC sitting on the shelf too. The only thing holding me back is oil consumption and Audi honoring the coverage if something were to happen. I'm only at 33k miles now, hardly burning oil.

But to stay on topic, my favorite mod to this date has to be the e-code markers. cleans up the car nicely.

I'll third this. Stg 2 E85 makes it feel like a completely different beast. Worth every penny.

Only thing holding me back is our CA emissions stranglehold!
Only thing I'd need to make it happen is a HFD and O2 sensor correct?

How are you guys getting around it come smog check time??

As for my favorite mod? Tough call but gotta say 2Nelson's CR-15 upper strut reinforcement bar wins on strength of cost to results ratio, DIY ease, and still scratching my head as to how a metal bar could stabilize the engine bay so well!

Thats a real tough question. I would have to say a tune is the #1 way to really crank up the fun factor. Followed by 1,000 other must haves.

yea i have the brace too, its incredible the difference it makes. install is a cakewalk too. i went with the anodized black version and it looks great too (until it gets covered again by the cowl).
