Midwest C5 g2g, anyone interested?

It's snowing in Chicago today, my allroad is on stands with no wheels in the garage, I have some of the best mods I've thrown on my car about to go on and I'm jonesing hard for some get togethers. At the same time I miss the OG days of the C5 and all the members that have moved on. Anyone in the midwest area down for a C5 get-together? If it looks like there's some real interest here then I'm down to put some work in and get a venue and throw something together. I have no idea what it would look like but I'm not going to even go there until there's real interest. Post up if you want in! Would shoot for stable Spring-time weather, beginning of May-ish. Location would also be up in the air so don't be bashful about where you're located.

Would really like to liven up this generation and grow some friendships like the good old days.

First off, congratulations to you and Marie Francis!

Slight hike for you guys, would be so good to have you though. Seanna and I go to Northern Michigan a lot, maybe we should plan a trip for the four of us sometime, I think that's closer to Winnipeg than Chicago (definitely much more worthwhile to visit for a vacation). I'd love to make it a multi-day g2g too, but obviously that's a fair bit to plan in the time given.

I can make a trip to the Chicago area a business trip, we haul a lot of product out of Chicago, and do a lot of our tank inspections in the Joliet area. Would like to visit some of the facilities that help us out.

Great idea man,maybe we should plan something out in Chicago/burbs or somewhere for one day as a feeler.Mid west is totally dead car scene,unfortunately.All happenings/gatherings are on either coasts.New ege kids with newer Audis seems like.Shame for this wonderful chassis of ours.

^That's exactly what it is. The FB groups (AUDI C5 GROUP & Audi allroad Quattro) are pretty active and a good portion of the guys that were active from the forums are on there. Good amount of Midwest/Illinois guys too.

Haha yes! There is a cars and coffee in the area. My friend will bring his R8 every now and then.
