I need some help with my 04 B6 A4 1.8t 6 speed. The car started off by running rough (misfiring, hesitating through the rpms, and limping) and now really won't do much of anything driving wise.

The car starts, idles rough, and can't go anywhere (loss of power). I've replaced the throttle body with two others, crank positioning sensor, and cam positioning sensor and still no difference.

I initially noticed the car will not do a throttle body alignment with either vag com or my snap on solus. It doesn't even seem to try (no noises or movement when I turn block 60 on.) It say error in channel 4.

I've also tried a different accelerator pedal thinking that my have some sort of effect on the tb. Nothing changed. Checked all fuses, all are good.

I'm starting to think there's an issue with the ecu or wiring. Anyone ever experience this before? I'm trying everything I can before I hand it over to the dealer. These are the current codes I'm getting.

I also get random misfire codes and before I was get a engine speed sensor code thats why i replaced the CPS. Now this is what I have left. My next step is to verify the voltage of the plug going to the TB.

Ive looked this issue up and many have had this problem it seems like but no one really stated what they did to fix it. If you guys can help me, Id greatly appreciate it!

The first code is caused by the second...

The second code (17953) is usually indicative of a dirty throttle body, obstructed throttle body or faulty wiring to the throttle body.

Yeah thats what I figured. I read the EPC light and triangle typically means wiring.

I pulled the ecu today to start testing wiring from the ecu to the throttle body and noticed there was actually water in the smaller connector. Pins 115 and 116 on the end were blue from corrosion. I used the multi meter and they didnt go to the throttle body. I clean all the pins, plugged in the ecu and tried adapting the throttle body and still get an error. I think because of the water in the connector that probably effed up the ECU. Im really confused because under the ecu lid, everything was dry but then when I pulled the connector, I saw it was wet down in the pins :(
