    Readiness Test Help! Fails.

So, emissions are due soon and I decided to run a readiness test. I have had two codes in the past for 02 sensors. Those two are 17539 and 17521

    Catalyst- Fail
    EVAP Sys- Fail
    02Sensor- Fail
    Heated 02- Fail

Can somebody make sense of this? I'm not sure what needs to be fixed or replaced just relying off this.

Did you recently clear your codes and if so what were they? Your monitors reading "Failed" or "Not Ready" can be caused by an actual problem (which should have stored a code) or due to recently clearing and needs to go through start/stop drive cycle for the monitors to clear.

17539 and 17521. Now that I think of it, I cleared them a few minutes before I did the readiness test.

Quick google shows they are 02 Sensor codes as per RossTech WIKI http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...9/P1131/004401

Do you have a full registered version of VCDS? If so, you can force readiness to see if the bank1 and bank2 codes pop back up. If you don't, you will have to drive "X" amount of time and get the EGT's hot enough for the Cat and 02 monitors to go through their cycle. The Evap one will take a lot longer.

Thanks. Bit of a n00b when it comes to that kind of thing, but would you recommend replacing the 02 sensors? My fuel economy has been not-so-great.
