TPMS - New Owner (be gentle)

I've been reading the forums and FAQs and come to a stopping point. I've been all over the vehicle and owners manual and cannot find the build manifest. So I resorted to VIN decoding:

This indicates the car has Tire Pressure Monitoring, and that's no surprise, but I'm not sure how to determine if the rims still have the monitors nor what they look like.

Mind you, it's a 9 year old vehicle and I'm the 3rd owner and the prior owner put other rims on the car and swapped them back when I bought it. So the rims are OEM and shipped with the vehicle (I suspect).

So a couple of noob questions:

- how do I locate the build manifest on my 06' A4 Avant?
- without vag-com (ordered, on the way) is there a procedure for diagnosing the TPMS to determine if it's functioning?

The vin decoder website is a joke. I just put my vin in there and it said I have a titanium s-line package with navigation. All I have is a regular base model with heated seats.

Call AOA and give them your vin#. They'll be able to tell you if it has TPMS or not. Thats what I did when I first bought my car.
