My 2009 S5 MMI screen went bad and shows crazy lines on the display. I am going to pull it today and get the model number I need to order. If mine is a 2g low will a 2g high fit? I don't have a joystick so I know its 2g low but I'm not sure what 2g high is? I think the best replacement would be to pull the unit and search online for a direct replacement. I am guessing ebay will be the best unless anyone has one.

The joystick means it's MMI 3G. 08-09 owners all have 2G High if the controls are down in the center console by the shifter.

I'm pretty confident the display you need is 8T0919603C. Double check though. That should be the 480x240 resolution screen.

Screens ending in 604 are the 800x400 3G/3G+ screens.

Let me know if you want to sell the old, bad screen. I might be able to use it for some testing.

    Jeff,

After I get the new one installed I will sell you my unit. 8T0919603C was correct. I'm guessing it's an easy fix.
