    Lightbulb 2.7T in a 4.2

    Hi Audizine,

I want to put a 2.7T in my 03 A6 4.2 and my knowledge of cars is kinda weak.
I want the motor, transmission, ECU, TCM and etcetera from the 2.7.
    My questions are:
I found a 2000 A6 2.7 for a fair price, would there be any detriments to putting an older 2.7 in my car versus a newer C5; like post 2002?
What are the differences/ benefits of pre/ post 2002 2.7's?
And, are there any pointers any of yous have for me before I embark on this swap?

The goal is to make my car faster and have a 6MT if you were wondering why I want to do this.
I plan on reading much more about the subject, but this car came up for a really good price and I didn't want to miss out.

    Thanks for you time!

Cool, thanks. Reading his posts right now, and I read the Mr. Rictus stuff too.
