Have any of you retro-fitted Sport seats into a non-Sport B8.5?

Are the appropriate wires and plugs there in the car to fully plug in the Sport seat with Lumbar supports, etc?

Your current car, does it have power seats both driver and passenger side? THe seats you're trying to fit in, are they both power? If you do not have a passenger side power seat, and you want to put in one, you will need to order an adapter harness. If you currently have NO power seats, and want to retrofit power seats in, you'll need a harness as well.

If you have full power seats, and simply want to put in sport power seats, they should be plug and play.

Remember that the seat control modules have to be swapped from your previous seats to your new seats. I am about to put in sport seats in to a non-sport B8

You have to swap modules if you have power seats and buy new power seats? I'm guessing it's under the seat and you just swap it?

Also, where dI'd you find seats? I've been looking forever.

I looked around locally for a while, and got lucky. I was originally going for an S4 interior, but then this one came up. I ended up getting the S4 headliner and columns etc. I got a good price, but as I said, waited for a while; people price these things, in my opinion, a little on the high side typically, so you can negotiate. Since i bought S4 brake carriers and interior at the same time, I got some bargaining leverage as well.

If you have power seats now, they'll have the controller module, it's on the underside of the seat. if you want, I can take a pic of the sports I have sitting here now. You swap this over to the seats you're installing.

If you are installing a power seat into a NON-power seat position (ie, one or both of your current seats are non-power), then you have to run the aforementioned additional power harness.

Right on. Sounds pretty easy since I have power seats. I'll just have to keep looking I guess.

There's a full S4 alcantara interior in the classifieds right now if you've got $1500 burning a hole in your pocket.

Yeah I saw those. I'm not into the S4 seats though, I want S-Line seats. They just look and feel better to me.

I agree that the look fits an A4 better. Good luck with the search.
