    Rain/lightsensor problem

    Hi!

My light/rain sensor is not working at all. No ''regular'' fault codes stored, no warnings on the onboard computer, 12V to the sensor, but when i hook it up to Auto-com and read real time data it says following

    ''Rain sensor internal fault''
    ''Light sensor internal fault''
    ''Rain/light sensor adoption error''
    ''Rain/light sensor communication failure''
''Sensor rain/light-sensing: function limited by undervoltage''
''Sensor rain/light-sensing: function limited by overvoltage''

Ch/lh does not work either, because the sensor think its daylight all the time.

Any ideas? The sensor that's malfunctioning? Or something with the central electronic module?

Did a lot of work on mine. I don't know this for sure but with so many errors I would think your rain/light sensor is either dead or there's a problem with the wiring to it. I might at least start by removing the trim behind the mirror to see if the plug and wiring there look OK. If you're interested, I could send you a diagram of that wiring so you can do continuity tests back to the Cent4al Electric Module. I have an extra Cent Elec Module I'd let you try, but it looks like you live about 4,000 miles from here. :)
