    Service Manual Subscription through Audi

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Has anyone used the subscription service for the audi service manuals through erWin? I'm wondering if you subscribe for one day ($35) if it will allow you to download/save it or if it is only available to view online? Any other options out there?

    I did it with TSBs from the Erwin site a few years, and it worked great.

    The Repair Manuals are around 12-15 documents, each with a few hundred pages. If you enter your VIN, it helps you sort out which versions are appropriate for your vehicle. I probably spent an hour on the site because I was browsing and found some other stuff like TSBs (not too useful) and the Self-Study Programs, which are very nicely illustrated techie-brochures (for training audi reps I believe).

    I just went ahead and did this an hour ago. Seems even better than the old Bentley Manual way since you don't have to deal with licensing/installs on machines, but have them in pdf wherever you need them. I searched by my details (4G2 CEUC) and checked every single area for documents that are relevant to my 2013 S6. Here's the list of docs I came away with:

    I just paid the $35. How did you come up with that list? I want to do the same thing for the 14. This isn't as intuitive as I hoped.

    I did a 'guided search' and put in my car details (year=2013, models='A6 Sedan (4G2) >2012' (which covers the S6 also).
    Then, 1:1, I selected a category under 'category 1' and clicked search, and browsed through the results.

    I didn't get the TSB's (there's 193 of them), just browsed them to see what's what. The majority of the goods are in the repair manual section and the 'service information' tab under the search results.
