I'm taking a break from this mod to post what I'm up to. I've been meaning to do this mod just no time. Yay for half days at work. Anyway this is my 3rd time doing a mod like this. Once on a RS6, baked them. Another on a B6 A4, went through the rear projector housing and finally on my S4, I used a heat gun. On the RS6 and A4 I simply discarded the Amber piece, but on the S4 it doesn't look good simply without it. This will be my first time attempting to wrap anything.

keep them apart, replace the lens with clear if not already. I've got that on my horizon. looking forward to finished pictures

Didn't even notice it. I've been getting a lot of comliments and looks. So it doesn't bother me.

one of the first mods I did when I got the car too . my OCD for details would drive me crazy if they didn't face the correct way! nicely done either way.

So how exactly are u removing the lense? Baking an then cutting it with a razor knife?

Man I like this. Is that lense/projector combo for 40$ from TRS a plug n play swap? I want better optics and have a spare set of oem b8.5 headlights
