It's a no start for me. I was driving and it just sputtered and died. I did put a new fuel pump on it a good month before this and it never gave me any problems.
I'm getting fuel to the fuel distributor but it just won't fire. The timing is fine and it's getting air and all the vacuum hose are connected. I'm out of ideas.

Oh sorry. Yeah spark is perfect. Just put new plugs and it has a brand new cap and rotor. The old ones were really slagged up.

I have a 87 CGT and a similar thing happened to me. I also had new plugs, leads, dist, rotor etc but still didn't fire. In the end I had a local mechanic look over it and it ended up being the ignition module. This is located behind the side panel next to the accelerator (RHD) model. I managed to borrow one from a friend and the car fired instantly. It look like a small brake pad like shape. Hope this helps.
