Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I've been having a concern about my Audi A4 8 speed for a while now. During cold starts if the vehicle has been sitting over night, I get a hard shift in second gear but only once. It kinda feels like an amateur learning to drive stick and forgetting to release the gas peddle shifting into second gear. I've taken my Audi into service for this problem about 3 times in a period of 4 months and all they've done if the usual clutch adaptation and tcm software update. Another issue I've noticed is a kick at about 35-38 mph under 20-30% throttle. Seems to be the torque converter engaging, but again the temporary fix seems to be the clutch adaptation but it always comes right back. They've also tested the fluid and have called the tech line. None of the loaners they've loaned me had any of these hiccups being the same 2.0t 8 speed. Any one with similar issues and had them resolved?? Thanks in advance guys! Btw it only has 19,000 miles
