Looks like he also put the stock sub back in. Whats the opinion on this? Is this type of setup producing better sound with the stock sub still in place or removed? And, if still in place, is it hooked up and firing or is it deactivated?
As far as the OP posting topics that have been covered, I understand the clutter issue, but I have found, in practice, that these threads often greatly help consolidate when people are actually willing to give straightforward answers and not just complain about said clutter. When the initial topic threads come out, they usually have awful titles that don't reveal much and make search difficult, not to mention the thread fills with a bunch of back and forth and to find the definitive answer, one must then dig through the thread itself which can reach an absurd amount of pages (not that the discussion within isn't worthwhile to getting to the answer, it's just a lot to go through). I don't have for, nor do I want to spend my time with, all of that. Another aspect is that, by revisiting and re-exposing the community to the topic, new information that may not have been posted will come to light, not to mention people who may not have had a clue or thought about such things before are brought into the topic. To me, the biggest issue with these threads is all the complaining that its been covered before. When I look at these forums, my biggest issue isn't these threads, its all the other bs threads that contain no information, or worse, misinformation, that are all over the place cluttering things up and quickly degrade, or simply begin, as worthless complaining threads for numerous pages where no one mentions cluttering up the forum. I rather see 10 of these threads to every one of those, IMHO.
