Squeaky Clean A6 on Vossen CV4 // TAG Motorsports

We recently wrapped up this insanely clean A6 here at TAG for an amazingly cool customer. The Client really wanted to stay true to a very clean, simple look while gaining true performance. He also wanted to maintain a color scheme that was not too overzealous as well. After some brainstorming we were able to put together the perfect package.

Adressing his first concern, the non existent exhaust note. AWE has released an A6 specific touring system for the 3.0T engine. The sound is just worlds above what came from the factory at Audi, and the performance is right there with it. Here is a little sound clip of the new system.



Next he wanted to get the horsepower that this car deserves. This was a simple add with the help of our friends at GIAC USA, and AWE tuning. They have their Stage 2 package (consisting of A software tune, and a pulley upgrade) that is truly phenomenal and produces that punch that the client was looking for. Last we added the AWE carbon fiber air intake to add some serious beauty as well as open up the cars breathing ability.

Next we moved on to the wheels and aesthetics. We are no stranger to Vossen's line of wheels, and felt that the Silver/ Mirror polished finish of their 20" CV4 was very fitting for the concept of this build. To close the gap we installed H and R Sport springs, as well as a set of SPC control arms to dial in the alignment.

Upon first site of round one with the mods our Client was ecstatic. He is truly one of the most gracious folks we have ever had through TAG and is very much appreciated. We truly feel that this car came out incredible, and are so glad that we could make this all happen for such a great guy.

2 questions..

the SPC front upper control arms, PN 81360, are 100% confirmed to fit a c7 A6? I have had front inner tire wear issues with my H&R coil overs and looked at those control arms in the past but SPC said they are not listed to fit a C7 A6

The grill, that is the RS6 "quattro" grill with just the quattro removed?

Frickin sweet! So what kind of HP and Ft Lbs numbers are we looking at? Any ballpark idea what 0-60 and 1/4 times will be? My next car is going to be this exact setup or a stock S6! Looking for numbers. Thanks!

The grill is an aftermarket part actually. In regard to the arms, we have used them in A6's in the past, however we are getting some noise with this car. We will keep you posted with the end result on that.

This motor has shown up to 488hp at the crank on Race fuel. I am unsure of the 1/4 mile times and 0-60mph times on the A6 unfortunately.

I actually just put in some race fuel for the weekend trials, I hope to have some numbers up asap. But it's fast :) I like it.
