    Hey guys,

Recently installed a TT flat bottom in my b7 s4, and now when I turn the steering wheel it's making a clicking sound.

Didn't make any noise before hand. I have no idea why it's doing it, maybe it's the clock spring. Everything is functioning, air bag, multi function, and the horn. So the clock spring cant be broken. I'm thinking maybe it got misaligned?? I really don't know.

Nothing really comes up when searching.

The noise is driving me crazy lol. Any help is greatly appreciated.

On a scale of 1-10, how loud is it? I had a faint clicking sound when I first installed my flat-bottom in my S4 but it went away lol. Almost like something needed to be greased which honestly made no sense because it's not like you have to modify anything to swap out a steering wheel.
    I drive a truck now.

I would say its a 7. I don't understand why it's there, literally removed the stock wheel and reinstalled the flat bottom. That's why it's frustrating me. BTW, I follow you on IG, follow back if you'd like. Ahizzzle.

It is rare! Well hell, all 6mt avants are rare, but sprint blue is stupid rare. Brilliant red is also pretty rare, but blue is my favorite color. I think there were 9 or so for my year in red. I'll have to ask Audi one day

Is the plastic panel on the steering column rubbing the wheel? Check to make sure there is a gap. If not there is an adjustment screw under the handle that allows you to move the wheel up and down. Loosen it and slide the cover back.

Thank u, I actually removed the wheel and adjusted the clock spring, the clicking is coming from there. I tried to adjust it but it didn't go away.. I think It the spring went bad when I removed the original wheel.

Probably are the wires from your airbag/MFSW buttons which are not correctly routed in the steering wheel and making contact with the clock spring.
Just take airbag of and check
