Angry B7 a4 is mad at me(Milwaukee Wi)

Hello I'm a first time poster but a long time lurker(even before i made an account).
    My/Dad's car: 07 a4 cabriolet 2.0t

So I'll begin with how the recent issues with my car began.
About a month or two ago, a airbag light came on while adjusting one of the front two seats(both were adjusted so don't know which side is throwing the code).
I ran a quick search...it seemed to be a common problem with a wire that runs underneath the seat. Anyway, no fix was done since I went off to college and my parents were in the process of moving to Milwaukee from IL.
Now...came home for winter break and ordered a vagcom kkl(aftermarket) cable from amazon...and received it two days ago.
I spent some time yesterday using vcds lite and got it to communicate with the car but not the airbag module...i disregarded it as one of the limitations of the unregistered vcds lite program.
Anyways, my dad and I took the car out today and it was sending a esp and epc code that went away after a minute or two...So we come back to the car from shopping and we are heading to a restaurant...I realized that the esp and epc codes are staying lit and the car is in limp mode this time(by now im already cursing at myself since the car was fine before i tried to scan it the previous day). As soon as we get to the restaurant, I try to turn the car off and turn it back on(now im furious). The car will not hold an idle and dies if given no throttle input. My dad drives it to the autozone(around two stores up the street) and they ran the codes:
    P0121-Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
P2101-Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit Low
    P0221-Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Range/Performance
(It threw a CEL on its way to autozone from the restaraunt)

While at Autozone, we disconnected the battery for 10-15 mins to try to reset the ecu...the cel went away, others stayed on and it had a rough idle but it made its way home.
After I ate dinner, I went back outside and tried to start it again but it wouldn't hold an idle the first time, the second time it held a very rough idle and there is a noticeable throttle response lag.

So I'm mad at myself, won't get good sleep tonight and don't know a trustworthy place to take it to tomorrow:
any input milwaukee members? I cant decide between north shore(audi dealership) and Autobahn Service Center (Independant shop)

My airbag light goes off randomly for the driver's side, sometimes when I move the seat around, and it seems like it happens more when it is cold out. Sometimes it won't come back for weeks. I ordered one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o04_s00 to clear it out and it works fine for me.

Airbag light I'd probably from a loose/broken connection to the seat belt buckle. That is a common failure and can result in intermittent airbag light.

Other codes are probably related to the sensors in the accelerator pedal. You may need a new pedal assembly to resolve those.

I was not able to take it to a shop today but will try to take it tomorrow morning...haven't decided where yet(so keep the suggestions coming)

I turned the car on this morning and it drove and ran fine for ~45 mins but it started acting up again...
It dips and raises idle violently making the car shake(drops to ~500 and goes up to ~1000 continuously)
To try to remedy the issue, I disconnected the battery to reset the ecu and will leave it off for the whole night

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not comfortable taking the car on a hour long trip(in its current state.)

I have some questions for the guys who have had to do a ecm swap/replacement...I took it to autobahn service center 2 times
1st time) (2 weeks ago) the car never acted up so he checked the throttle body and reset the adaptation
this week(trying to take it to the shop in the morning):
monday-cranks but wont start(no matter what i do)...starts later in the evening with a rough idle and poor performance
tuesday-it starts and has a rough idle...I'm about to leave the underground parking lot and it stalls. it just wouldn't stay on no matter what i did and the idle kept jumping up and down
wednesday- starts like there is nothing wrong and is completely fine on the drive to the shop

Anyway I talked with the mech. today and he told me that the car only acted up one time (he said he just gave it some throttle and it idled and ran fine after that).
He said that he tested the resistance and voltage values of the throttle body and since the measurements are in spec his manual(s) suggest getting a new ecm. He did clarify that this may not remedy the issue though.

So I have a few questions regarding ecm replacements:
    1) In 2011 the ecm was replaced due to a faulty throttle motor causing a short(as per service records)...so this new reman unit was put in. I need to know if audi or bosch has any warranty on the reman(im assuming this is same as if i just buy a ecm from the dealerh) (I've tried calling the local dealer and the dealer in IL but couldn't reach the parts dept in the local one and left a message for the IL one.)
    2) What are your guys thoughts on getting a used ecm(price difference is rather large) and is this something that should be taken to the dealer to be replaced?
