    Oil leaking from turbo?

Hi I'm a long time lurker first time poster. There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable folks on here and hopefully someone can help me out.

I bought an 05 A4 1.8t quattro with about 160k mi about 2.5months ago. About a couple of weeks after owning it the low oil level warning came up on the dash, so I put a quart of oil in it. This morning heading into work the warning flashes again, so I checked the oil as I did last time, and oil was only on the tip of the dipstick. Now I only drive to work and back which is a total of 14 miles round trip. Has anyone had any mysterious oil consumption with these engines? There's no smoking or puddles or cel. I took off the intercooler piping and there was maybe a teaspoon of oil that dripped out. I'm puzzled right now any help is greatly appreciated.

    Oh here is a pic.

Yikes that looks like quite the leak. Pull the hose and let us know how much oil pours out of it. Better yet get a clear cup and pull that hose where it connects to the crossover pipe and then take a picture for us of what leaks out. You may be in the market for a new turbo.

Thanks for your response. I was afraid of that, but I guess its to be expected. I did take off the hose going from the turbo to the crossover pipe. There was no more than a teaspoon of old dark oil.
