    Hey guys,

    After owning the Q for 4.5 years, I finally decided to have a little fun with my car and deleted the resonator.
    Replaced the resonator with an x-pipe and loving the sound!

    Very nice! I swapped out the mid for an aftermarket one, and ran new pipe to the tips on my 3.2 A5. Sounded fantastic!!

    Sound nice!
    Not to loud as i have heard on some S4/s5.

    I also have the 3.2 fsi, but have changed to SQ5 rear mufflers (with open valves due to no valve control) and i am really curious on how an x-pipe mod would sound!

    Sweet! I've been planning on doing this for a while. Did you just have a shop create an X or did they have one that fits? Also, do you have a ballpark cost if you don't mind?

    Got mine done! They didn't have an X that fit, so he bent some pipe and spliced them together.
    Sounds throaty and mellow. If the rain will ever quit, I'll get a sound clip soon :)

    Very Nice Growl !!! I'm very curious to know now if the resonator delete on the wife 2.0 Q5 would also achieve a decent growl?
