Went out to run the 1/8th mile yesterday at Texas Raceway in Kennedale, TX with the latest EPL E85 beta version.
Best time was 7.640 @ 91.33
DA +1464'
2012 S4 DSG
EPL Stage 2 E85 Beta ECU tune
APR TCU tune
Upgraded Autotech HPFP
Roc-Euro Intake
18x8 ET 35 Advanti Hybris 19.5 lbs each
Pirelli P6 All season tires (32psi F 35psi R)
4500 RPM launch
Zeitronix Ethanol analyzer was showing E82
I ran the APR TCU tune for 2 reasons. 1. My previous best was with APR ECU/TCU combo on the 104 file running 70% E85 and 30% MS109 so I wanted to compare just the ECU tune difference. 2. Tony is swamped and has not had time to write a solution for my DSG launch control issue. (I'm well over 200 launches). Surprisingly this is the first time at the track with the APR TCU tune that it did not hang up on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts by bouncing of the rev limiter. 6 passes without issue. It played very nicely with the EPL ECU tune.

The E85 beta is coming close to being done. We might be able to get a little more out of it. Also working thru a random code for low pressure fuel regulation. Its never caused any issues and fuel pressures are always fine, the ECU is just seeing different variations due to the larger fuel requirements of ethanol. Almost there..
I am not compensated in any way by EPL. I paid full price for the tune, software and cable, in fact a whole lot more than the latest group buy. lol
