    Another Vibration Thread

Searched and I cant figure out this goddamn vibration. Its driving me insane. Seems only evident on acceleration (slight or strong). It also appears to be coming from the middle rear of the car.

I replaced all CV joints/ shafts.

My thoughts are it might be trans mount or rear diff mount. It might be the wheels but I will rule that out soon when I put my snows on. Driveshaft maybe?

It completely disappears by pushing in the clutch and coasting and it occurs at near highway speeds.

If anyone has experienced this before - please let me know what your solution was.

Bearing, but they are non replaceable trust me I've tried. 034 motorsports sells the center bearing but when I took it too an Audi specialist they straight up told me it's a non serviceable part and they tried putting it on anyway but it didn't work out. So my advice would be to find ether a used one from an wrecking yard that still has good center bearing or you can looks online for new ones but I think they start at around $650+. It sucks because the b5s get all the love and have carbon fiber options or straight shafts with no bearings that are a better option.

Yeah per JHM's website it is serviceable but looks to be a bitch and is crimped on. Nothing ever is a complete or easy fix when its crimped.

Getting my Driveshaft serviced in early January by JHM. I got my audi stuck in a sand pile a while back and immediately there was vibration under acceleration. I'll let you know how it feels. Total is about 500$
