    I've got an Audi a4 quattro a 2000
I've had this issue for quite some time but since I fixed all my other problems so far I should focus on this headache of a problem... heres whats going on, my instrument cluster has no lights, the warning lights brake lights and all those illuminate but the light for the gauges and trip and gas, volt, oil, none of those illuminate and not only that they dont work gauges does not move for the speedometer, or rpms or gas, the only thing that moves is the oil indicator the needle goes all the way up every single time i start the car the needle moves all the way and stays there I have no idea why but everything else doesnt move all the warning lights work. Its a very strange thing i have been dealing with because i never know how fast im going never know how much gas i have nothing if anyone could lead me in the right direction id appreciate it so much man.

With so many electrical issues in your IC I would recommend getting a used unit and swapping it in. Sounds like you have a broken rheostat, or have it turned all the way down, as well as a speedo issue which could or could not be the IC or VSS. Unless you are extremely comfortable with a Digital Multimeter, and have a good one.... take the car to a shop, or start testing for ground, power, and continuity.

Alright, let me add that this issue happened after I removed the ECU relay under the Hood, I removed it and all this happened to the cluster, I replaced it but the issue never fixed itself, if you think it may be the cluster itself I'll get another one and see if that fixes the problem.
The car also makes a strange sound every time I get it and switch the key the on position those beeps that it normally does are still there but the sound changed, sounds more like a buzz sound now .

All beeps come from the back of the cluster. If that wasn't obvious/what you're saying. Did you unhook the battery when you put the new relay in?

It sounds like you just fried something inside of it. I'd try swapping it. I have 0 experience with cluster issues though. I've only cut the wire to the 'beeper'.
