looking to replace mt recently totaled b7 A4 (hit a deer) i recently had a child and was thinking about getting an avant but i want to still have the fun and pep that comes with a manual transmission. i've been doing a bit of research and can't seem to find a direct answer as to what is the last year and body style that the avant came with 3 pedals on the floor. can someone help me out with that please.

the b7 was the last avant with 3 pedals to my knowledge.

thanks thats what i was affraid of i want to upgrade to the B8 but dont know if im ready to drive an auto everyday! last 5 cars 2 vw's and then the 3 A4's have all been manual

You can do a MT swap for about $5,000. It is not cheap but it is worth considering if you are going to keep the car for a while
