This is a little more accurate.

There's some other spy material out there too. I think most of the goodies were revealed when they showed the B9 A4 and S4. I don't think there's going to be anything too shocking about the B9 coupes.

Agreed, and it will more than likely share the same single turbo V6 as the new B9 S4, not an increased output supercharged V6.

I just found this. A5 Sportback test mule.

    http://fourtitude.com/news/audi-rumo...ortback-spied/

As well as a couple renders that will probably be pretty close to the final car.

The side view of this concept reminds me of a new Camaro. I don't like it. I also have to agree with the other posts, this couldn't be the incoming design, an S5 wouldn't warrant that "over the top" front end (maybe an RS5 would deserve some of that flare).

The yellow car in the link was the Quattro Coupe concept car.

It was supposed to be a nod to the original Quattros.

The concept car was built on a hacked up RS5, but it was never seriously intended for production. It's a damn shame. I love it.

I dunno about you guys, but I love the fact they seem to be going back to a more rectangular headlight. I prefer the B8 A5/S5 headlights over the B8.5 personally. I don't like the "pinched" look of them.

These new ones maintain a somewhat angular style on the inside, but it isn't nearly the pinched down look the 8.5's have. Also the rest of the headlight is rectangular and large. I like it.

The front of the S5 will undoubtedly look like the front of the new S4, which has already been seen. The grill is a bit more hexagonal, and IMHO it is a step backwards from the current one. I'm sure Audi will keep the basic shape of the S5 (based on the camouflaged pics), but it looks to be more angular and less curvy and sexy than the current model. The jury is out for me until I see the finished product.

Well put. I'm liking it less and less with each new spy photo. Just want to see the real thing already!

I've seen the B9 A5,RS5, and Sportback. They are just like the test mules show and the headlight housings are that big. The inside LED design is very similar to the Gen II R8 so I thought it was a bit weird considering the housings were so big.
The RS was my least favorite of the 3, but the A5 looked pretty awesome.

The biggest things you can't see from the test mules is the 4 hood lines that mimic the Audi Prologue Concept and the fender vents

What is that line down the fender? Hood seam?

Correct. The hood is kind of like an R8 style where it closes over the fender

I was at an International Dealer Meeting in Spain in October. It featured a 2 hour product show

I just found the RS5 underwhelming aesthetically at my first impression. It was a beautiful machine, but it wasn't love at first sight.

Interesting, thanks. How aggressive was the RS compared to the current one? Can you share any info on the engine and:or other specifications?

I like the concept but something was bugging me looking at it.. and I just figured out what it is:

the (rear) side window and roof line is reminding me of the 280Z (maybe it was the 260Z) 2+2 and I hated that... anyone else seeing that??

They only confirmed the twin turbo V6 for the motor and a carbon roof option.

The car I saw had a fixed rear lip spoiler, not an adaptive one. The side profile and wide body were pretty much like our car, the front had a lot going on including functional vents where the wide body starts on the fenders. The rear was meh to me and the rockers/side now have more detail and this particular car had an alu-optic blade on the side rocker

Seems like it will be a more polarizing design, although your descriptions do point to a few more aggressive design choices compared to the current model.
