I have gotten many mixed answers on this..
But the bottom line is I have a 2013 S7 and ordered a millet TBE with high flow cats. I have the 02 catted defoulers and that is it.
Car has 1 year warranty left and then after that 2 years CPO.
Service manager said if the engine were to be damaged, and I were to have changed the cats, that will affect the air fuel ratios. And that could be blamed for an engine failure. I was also told our computers compensate when the air fuel ratios change and they adjust accordingly and it CANNOT cause any kind of engine damage. That the only damaged caused could be from something OTHER than changing the exhaust and downpipes. Is that correct?
Anyone with actual knowledge on this subject please chime in.
