Will turbo back exhaust(with high flow cats) void warranty on 2013 S7?

I have gotten many mixed answers on this..

But the bottom line is I have a 2013 S7 and ordered a millet TBE with high flow cats. I have the 02 catted defoulers and that is it.

Car has 1 year warranty left and then after that 2 years CPO.

Service manager said if the engine were to be damaged, and I were to have changed the cats, that will affect the air fuel ratios. And that could be blamed for an engine failure. I was also told our computers compensate when the air fuel ratios change and they adjust accordingly and it CANNOT cause any kind of engine damage. That the only damaged caused could be from something OTHER than changing the exhaust and downpipes. Is that correct?

Anyone with actual knowledge on this subject please chime in.

But in reality, can this change ACTUALLY cause any kind of change in the car that could damage something?

And secondly WHY would they want to report the after market exhaust? Don't they make money on warranty repairs?

Not sure yet on this car...every car I have ever owned measures afr post cats, but doesn't alter fueling parameters based off the info. Rather just measures afr for cat effectiveness. If it is under factory numbers, the car will throw a CEL.

If anyone knows different, I would love to know :)

This, they are more commenting on a stage II tune, it changes the thresholds of the ECU and if the tune was bad then yes the engine can pop, Every tuner that is currently tuning are cars can make a safe stage 2 file with their eyes closed so it is a non issue.
