ECU question- what won't work with it unplugged... Besides the obvious

I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the ECU controls everything in the car besides the obvious engine components. More specifically, will the alarm and door locks still function if the ECU is unplugged. Reason I ask is that I am going to be forced to leave my car in an area that is high in crime next week. I have already swapped my nice wheel setup for my old stockers and will be removing my RNS-E but I was also thinking about pulling the ECU before I leave as sort of a poor mans disabler switch. Will my alarm and door locks still function without the ECU? I wouldn't think that the ECU controls those things but then again you never really know with an Audi... Oh yeah, car is a 2000 S4.

    Thanks for any input!
