    I did some test.

It feels like the car doesn't have a 1st gear because at 10 mph I am at 2500 rpms at 55mph 3000 at 60mph 3200. for every 5 mph on top of that it is 200-250 additional rpms.

    The tiptronic doesn't change gears

    No check engine lights

But I do get a blinking INSP light below my Mileage. Do places charge for an INSP?

any help would be great. Thank you.

The INSP means the car thinks it is due for service. Probably just wasn't reset at your last oil change. It's not uncommon for transmission issues to not cause a check engine light. Scan the car for codes and see if there are any.

We need to know what engine, milage, mods, and so on.

When the PRND light up its showing a malfunction to the auto trans. It's most likely the multi function switch on the side of the trans causing the issue. Sometimes, and in my case, it was the connector to the switch. Water can get in there and corrode the connection. Try to disconnect it, clean the terminals with contact cleaner and something small and lightly abrasive.
