Will a 235/45/17 be ok for my spare tire w a set of 225/50/17s?

Im ready to put on the snow tires for snowboarding season.....I found a perfect wheel match but the tire is slightly off. Is this ok? Or is the 45 aspect ratio vs the 50 going to be an issue with the wheel size and the Quattro system. I'm assuming that the slightly wider 235 vs the 225 isn't a real issue? Can I safely use the tire if I need to do so in an emergency without damaging the car?

Easy to google a tire size chart to see the difference, but the difference in diameter is about 2% and about 16.37 revs per mile. Should be ok for emergency use.

    Yep looks to be 2.4%.

Of course different tire brands/models can vary even in the same size, but you will be fine.
